The Oni Commander
Tetsu is the daughter of an important arranged marriage in her country, and as the daughter of politicians, she was expected to learn at a very young age the arts for politics as well, but her most prominent field was always weapons and strategy in battle. It was somewhat advanced at her age, to the pride of his parents, though her talents attracted unwanted looks. Soon the husband discovered that his wife had a lover, and that because of the great resemblance he bore to Tetsu, there was a strong possibility that he was her real father. Wanting to mask the disgrace that his wife was having an affair, he decided to send assassins to kill not only his wife and her lover, but his own daughter. They made it look like an accident, but Tetsu managed to escape thanks to one of the servants taking pity on the girl, and escaped the mansion before the killers arrived.
Tetsu escaped from the country at the age of 12 and travelled through several other states for a few years, learning the mercenary trade and doing what she did best: hunting. Both human and beast, Tetsu defied death with nothing more than the desire to once more taste the sensation of cornering his prey. Her fame increased and she reached the ears of the Queen of Harvia, who sent for her and having fallen into her grace, she recruited her as one of their best jackets. Over time, Tetsu’s experience and ambition grew, and she made her way into the army, earning the title of Commander, and the moniker of “oni commander” for her ferocity and cunning in battle, and for the two ruby red horns on her forehead.
